image After four years of living on this property, I am extremely happy with all facets of the facility, both inside and outside. Willow Brook Court's staff in its entirety has assisted me when I needed advice, help and/or assistance, a repair or replacement both promptly and correctly, and that always has been accomplished with respect and caring. I always recommend Willow Brook when asked about Brookfield apartment complexes.

image Good place to live in Brookfield. Everything is just like at a distance of 1-2 miles. Life got more easy finding this convenient place to live.

image Predatory Company that will try to steal from you !
When I moved out, This place charged me another month of rent when I no longer lived there.
I opened a case with the bank because they didn't tell me when they could refund me. The next day they sent back most of the rent charged.
Willow Brook refused to deal with the case opened with the bank, ( In which they just had to prove they refunded me and the charge back would be dropped. ) and continued to threaten me with legal action.
In the end, they stole $30 from me. ( I never got refunded the entire amount they accidently had charged to me ) But I guess that's better than $1200.
Stay away from these apartments ! They will try to take your money any way they can.
** The auto-payment was set up in their payment website. Not my bank account. There was no auto-payment set up in any of my bank accounts. They left my account account details on their website after I moved out which had auto-pay enabled and continued to charge my account after I moved out.

image I lived here for 1 year.
Within one year, 2 major appliances broke (Dishwasher & Water Heater), And they were going to raise the total rent by about $200 if I renewed. (Which would be over 15% increase in a single year !)
When I moved out, we immaculately cleaned the place. And even though I noted every little scuff on the walls before I moved in, They still took $200 out of my deposit when I moved out. Citing new paint and dirty stuff. (I assure you, the walls were scuffed when I moved in & I cleaned and bleached everything before moving out)
The washing machines are horrible and never clean/dry all the way. You'll have to pay for multiple cycles.
At least twice a year, you have to let a stranger in your apartment because they change air-filters in your actual unit.
And oh yea, don't forget about the train.
The train tracks near the buildings get a lot of traffic.
You will be stopped for 15 minutes randomly through the day trying to get in/out due to the traffic from the train.
The multiple daily Trains also are close enough you can feel them shake the buildings a little bit. They also honk their horns before the crossing, so you'll hear trains a lot, every day.
Front Desk lady was nice, But management does not care about you. Only your money.

image I highly recommend NOT to live at Willow Brook Court. Do not get fooled by the cheap rent because the smell is rancid inside the place. They could get away with purchasing air purifiers but they do not. I wish I would have looked at the reviews prior to living here because even a 2.4 star review is too nice of a review. I lived by a family where they would arrange picnics and family gatherings underneath my patio while having their kids yell and scream numerous times while they were unaccompanied. I could hear their kids in my shower and I could not have a conversation on my phone because the kids were heard by the individual I was speaking with. The apartment complex as a whole received emails to ask parents to accompany their kids while they were at play as well as to help control the noise. Well this form of communication is ineffective. It does not work. I cant believe that they dont recognize this with being in business for years. I mean, seriously?? I had to work from home due to the pandemic, and I would receive comments from patients through a computer screen that they were hearing the noisy kids and families that were outside. It was getting to the point where I was uncomfortable to work from home, which was unfortunate as everyone was required to during the pandemic. I attempted to work an arrangement with the family beneath me on a number of occasions, but they continued to disregard my wishes. They were very inconsiderate and I felt they only cared about themselves. I discussed my complaints with management and I was told to contact the police with complaints. So, I was essentially told by management to contact the police because the noise from my neighbors is MY PROBLEM. Are you kidding me?? How unprofessional is this? I was deeply disappointed with the management as I believe this is completely inappropriate. I would be careful upon moving in to make sure your self-clean option in the oven works. I did not test this when I moved in, and it was broke and I could not clean it when I moved out. So someone moved into my apartment with a broken oven. The laundry facilities are also not maintained. They are dirty and full of hairs. I would recommend to pay more money and live in an apartment where there is efficient and professional management in addition to respectful and considerate neighbors.
