Dont ever buy anything from Kay Jewelers. 2 months ago I traded in my diamond wedding band for an open heart necklace, the chain broke over the weekend. When I went back to the store today to see about getting it fixed hey said they could soder it for $36.99 or I could buy the lifetime warranty for $59.99. No way! I can find a chain nicer than that from another jeweler. I will never ever shop or exchange anything at Kay Jewelers ever again!!

Exceptional service!! I have two bands that my husband bought at separate times. He ordered the same exact band and when I put them on my finger, they were separate sizes. I asked the lady I spoke to there if I could get two new bands that would be the same size and I got two new bands WITHIN A WEEK of asking. I was not expecting that to happen so soon, and I really appreciate the effort this store gave to make me happy. Only one week!!

I would not recommend shopping at Kay Jewelers. I'm not sure about other locations, but my experience at the Brighton location was absolutely atrocious. It made the entire process of getting an engagement ring stressful and difficult, when it should be exciting. My fiance purchased a $4,300 ring and after he proposed, I realized that there was a dent in the band as well as brown splotches. When we took the ring back to get it re-sized, I pointed out these flaws to them and they assured us that it would get fixed. Two weeks later, when I picked up the ring, the dent was still there. When I showed the manager, she said the only thing they could do was send it back and that it would take another two weeks. When I politely voiced my frustrations, it was obvious that the manager did not care, and continued to make excuses, claiming there was nothing else she could do. It was extremely disappointing considering the size of the purchase. When you buy a ring that expensive, it should not have dings in it. Everyone who "helped" me was rude and not helpful. Whenever I walked into the store, the employees ignored me and continued to just talk to each other. I will not be giving Kays more business, and plan to go elsewhere to buy wedding bands.
