I wish I could give less than one star. After several calls where he cussed and screamed at me belligerently, I asked that we only conduct our business via email and stopped taking his calls. He called me from different numbers to continue to scream and cuss. He is BEYOND unprofessional. Keep in mind, I was HIS CLIENT.
We agreed to a $1,500 fee for the task of retrieving $60,000 earnest money from a failed real estate transaction. At the end of the road, he “modified” his billing statements and told me if I didn’t pay him $10,000, I wouldn’t get my money AND he’d sue me.
Real class act. Not sure how he’s retained his licensure, judging from the other comments.

I paid $65000 to lose my kids to a convicted felon. At the end of a 7 day trial, the judge asked Dunn for a finding of facts and he did not provide them. The judge made a decision without the finding of facts potentially resulting in the loss of my custody case to a convicted felon. Dunn stated he would file an appeal while I was away on business. When asked about the appeal his staff became evasive. He did not file the appeal, never afforded me an opportunity to find another attorney and my kids were lost to a convicted felon. As of this posting (2019) he has been suspended by the TN BAR.

Written request to accounting to return retainer fee was ignored and it has been over a month. All phone calls were ignored as well.

Missed filing deadlines, late to court, unpolished, uncouth, unethical. Not respected in the legal community which is something you want your attorney to be for obvious reasons. Outside of the courtroom he is overbearing and speaks when he needs to listen. In the courtroom he seems to have stage fright and doesn’t say a word to the detriment of his client. One star is a very kind review.
