Had a really nice 5 day stay here over the Labor Day weekend. The B&B was very clean even meeting my wife's strict standards. We had a beautiful king size bed room facing the lake with a full size balcony. Room was spacious with plenty of windows, a fireplace (not needed) and A/C (also not needed). Linda was a terrific host - extremely personable and always willing to help. Sunrise in the mornings over the lake were beautiful. Only drawback was no locks on the door -being from a big city, found that unusual and a bit discomforting - but truly was non-issue. Breakfast was good but not great. Would come back again

Beautiful and clean! What a wonderful place to see Keuka lake. Great to relax and recharge..... I don't think there is any place better in the Finger lakes, in my opinion

This was a bit of a mixed experience... there was a lot of good but also some not so good parts of this bed and breakfast. Id honestly give it 3.5 stars if I could, but rounded up since I cant. Weve stayed at several bed and breakfasts in the finger lakes and honestly overall this was my least favorite.
Ok, so to start with the good... the house is beautiful and the woman who runs it is nice, although honestly she treated us more like distant relatives who were staying at her house than paying guests. The view is awesome and the food, while by no means fancy or gourmet, was pretty good for the most part. The woman who helped with the food over the weekend was really nice too.
Now for the not so good... there are no locks on any of the doors, which I found to be off putting and not something I was ok with. There were several other couples staying there and I was uncomfortable with not having any type of lock on the door. I also specifically asked if the room had a private bathroom and was told yes... when we got there we found out that its only accessible by going out in the hallway, which I feel I should have been told when I asked about it. Also, the room we stayed in faces East and the woman specifically told us we would want the shades down in the morning since the sun comes in, which was nice except that the door to the balcony didnt have a shade on it, and since it was a half lite whats the point of having shades on the windows next to the door?? After being up at the crack of dawn the first morning we had to put a towel up over the door. We were never told what was being served for breakfast until it was being brought to us, nor were we asked if we had any allergies or anything. The first morning we had to ask for both coffee and water, which was a little odd.
Overall it wasnt a bad experience, but I wouldnt stay here again.
