ordered an americano, took them 10 minutes because they kept messing up trying to make it. then it came out super watered down. I'm never going back.

I used to love going to Leaf and Bean as a kid, but hadn't gone in about 2 years as I usually go to Wild Joe's Coffehouse now. A friend wanted to go though so I figured it was a good time to try it again. Well it started bad when they were out of iced black coffee... how does a coffee house run out of black coffee? So they suggested iced vanilla coffee instead, and it was just okay. It cost me $2, and I drank it there and wanted a refill. Most places either do free refills or a reduced cost refill...nope. Cost a full $2 for a refill. So what's the point of even hanging out there? I'll stick to Wild Joes where they take care of patrons.

I have been going here for almost 20 years. Their cakes/pasries/cookies are outstanding, the coffee is great, the staff has always been friendly.
I also frequent other shops, so, I know the quality around town. For instance, in my opinion, Rockford is a thumbs down. Francais is outstanding. The Wild Crumb is at the top of my list,too. They all have their niche and that is why, with all our coffee shops, there is a place that is a good fit for most people
