Not surprised to see all of the reviews the same experience ive had, every single time ive been here.
After making 3 trips to this location to transfer a title, i decided to drive to my hometowns currency exchange in frankfort.
To the woman always working here, i come here for money orders to pay my rents or for title transfers or things of that sort. If you hate your job so much, perhaps find another one and quit making everyone who visits this business feel like they did something wrong. I hand you thousands of dollars a month and i get treated like i am not wanted there. Not even a smile. Zero help whatsoever. Useless. I get better customer service from an ATM machine, it atleast says please and thank you. I will be contacting your superiors if yoy are not the owner. If you are, I will be contacting you. Perhaps once you know who I am your attitude would change. And if its not the job, and you just hate your life, maybe a different job would make you happier. Either way, you shouldnt be there.
One trip to my friendly frankfort currency exchange, i was greeted, smiled at, treated kindly and with care. And i got what i needed done, very easily and swiftly, im just a few minutes. And i had the pleasure of having some human interaction and even a nice, friendly conversation.
Not that it matters, really it should not matter, but I am a man of higher class. And it physically shows. Also, I am a man thats very kind and easy going. Still, my last visit there, i was treated with the same tone as the junkie from the bus stop at the counter before me. So clearly you dont discriminate, youre just rude to everyone.

Warning. Do not go there unless you enjoy being treated badly. I dont understand how that woman still works there unless she owns the establishment....
If zero stars was an option, that would be the appropriate rating. There are other currency exchanges, try Manteno. The person at Main Street needs a wake up call. Just remember that she will be rude when she answers

This place hired a horrible customer service..she is so evil and will not answer any questions! I'll not be surprised if someone will hit her in the face..so rude!

My wife and I needed to do a Title transfer on a vehicle we bought from her parents. We initially went to the the currency exchange on 643 South Main St Bourbonnais, IL. It was this past Saturday and when we got there, there was a line of people waiting outside and only one person working inside. Eventually our turn came, told the girl what we are seeking to do ( short story, we simply wanted to transfer plates which was on the car already). The girl who helped us was simply a kind person but we felt bad for her because we quickly recognized that she was not trained properly nor had the support needed and shouldnt have been by herself. She made 4-5 calls to a supervisor at the time trying to get clarity and make sure she was doing it right. In the end it became clear that it wasnt done right, asked to see if it can be corrected? She stated that she couldnt and well need to come Monday and speak to Brenda on getting it revolved and the difference because she not sure how to correct it. Fortunately, Brenda was near by and came to assist her eventually but from the time she came in, you can sense that she had an attitude, simples irritated, and a big ego on her. We went back to the line, waited for our turn and my father in law asked her a simple question to make sure the issue was resolved correctly but her response was completely rude, offensive in regard to her tone, and completely unprofessional. I had no choice but to step in and defend my father in law from getting disrespected, and got the same attitude and level of disrespect from her. Brenda was completely out of line and for the fact that we were there long trying to resolve a transaction that should have taken 10-15 mins, she didnt apologize on the wait nor the mistakes that kept us there for over an hour. If you are the owner of this location or any of the locations she manage, please know that Brenda is rude, impolite towards customers, disrespectful, and VERY unprofessional. She eventually refused to do the transaction at the end, prompting us to go to the Meadowview currency exchange near by at 34 Meadowview Shopping Center Kankakee, IL. Which was such a pleasant experience.
We were greeted by Erica, very friendly and felt welcomed. We told her what we were trying to accomplished, she knew exactly what to do and the process only took about 10-12mins, by the way they had two staffs when we walked in ready to serve. The cost was actually few dollars cheaper because she knew what she was doing, no attitude, and completely professional from start to the end. Bottoms line is this, you have options, take you business and hard earned money to a location that value and respect your business, dont bring your business to someone like Brenda who is very unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. Take your business to location such as the one on Meadowview Currency Exchange because they care and want your business and it was effortless communicating with Erica and her manager who also happened to be there.
