Dr. Hill (he wears glasses and cowboy boots) is the worst doctor on the planet! Good luck getting any type of care from this guy. If you need to be seen, either ask for a different doctor or go to a different hospital or he will cause infection or do nothing at all. This is the second time dealing with this guy and both times he failed as a person and a doctor. Good luck if to you if you have to see this horrible doctor.

The behavioral health crisis team processes are absolutely terrible at this hospital. 5 minute intake interview with a screen, 9 hours in the ERwith less information and realistic resources or a treatment plan than when we came in. No, the ER wasnt understaffed and overfilled. They outsource their crisis team to a telehealth company! You arent in queue for whoevers actually at the hospitalyoure in queue for whatever other subscribing clients the telehealth providing 3rd party company happens to have before you!!! Telehealth is what you do for normal circumstances or basic healthcareNOT a full blown hospital or full blown ER!!! Fast forward 9 hours, upon asking to be discharged, and again 45 minutes later when there was zero communication or movement, the fake tan and fake lips nurse who wasnt even our nurse was snippy and offended, told us we could just sign an AMA (against medical advice) and leave or we could continue to wait for the crisis team to draw up a safety plan. We work very closely with our family pcp, psychologist, play therapist, etc. multiple times per week. This crisis team is completely unprofessional and in no way, shape, or form a real medical team. The ONLY reason we came to Lakeview was because our insurance had them listed as having an adolescent inpatient program. They do not. And well be notifying our insurance company so that hopefully no one else has to experience this atrocity. But again, they do have a 5 minute intake interview with a robot looking screen that the person on the other end has zero authentic affiliation or personal knowledge of realistic resources in your area, and just asks the same questions you fill out at any of your regular counseling sessions. No discussion of possible treatment plans, no discussion of resources. Combining zero real interaction with a real crisis team for hours on endthis hospitals approach to behavioral health is a complete waste of time. That precious time could have been used to get real resources in real time for an entirely real result somewhere else. Super sad for the mental health care in the surrounding communities.

I had a surgery here with Ryan Empey. He is a great doctor, and this is not his fault. The billing department is a nightmare. I had surgery approved on May 19th through my insurance and they told the hospital that there was no prior authorization required on anything. Had the surgery on June 1st. October 31st rolled around and I received a bill for $1,365. Confused, I called and spoke with Lisa Gay. She told me that my insurance denied the anesthesiologist bill and told me to call my insurance. She sent the document where my insurance said everything had been approved. I call my insurance and they tell me that there has been a mix-up and to have them charge the bill again. I called back and Lisa told me that they do not accept my insurance. I know that is completely false because all of my other bills through them were completely covered by insurance without a problem. I had two previous appointments with Dr Empy before my operation, and a follow-up after. Everything was fine. I told her I was never notified and that they didn't accept my insurance. She said she would speak with a manager and get back to me. I called a few times in both November and December and there's no follow-up or solution. January rolls around and I had a family member start to have severe medical issues. I forget to call because of this. (Still, no follow-up) February comes and that family member passes away. I admit I did not call because of the situation. However, I tried to get this resolved in November and December. I am now getting phone calls from debt collectors. This entire situation violates the No Surprises Act. My insurance should be covering this and they are refusing to bill my insurance again after a mix-up. This needs to be fixed.

Second experience
The Billing department is out sourced some times they tell you a state other times it is from another country.
They send text with links to pay your bill. I do not feel comfortable paying a hospital bill from a link on a text or email.
I get transferred and then the phone hangs up.
Does not Lakeview hospital have a billing personnel that would be able to handle this in house!
I want to pay my bill but not put me at risk .
We had to go to Lakeview for the specialize unit my sister needed.
Recommend not using Lakeview Hospital at all.

My daughter came into the ER with horrible neck pain. The person we saw twisted her around in a very cruel way. He said he had to do it in order to examine her problem. The careful way that the nurses moved her to X-ray made me see that he was being mean, bordering on abusive. This is the worst of the many negative experiences that have had at Lakeview. In the future, I will only go there if I have such a life threatening injury that I have no choice.
