image I would just like to share with everyone that this is the best place to get your RV repaired/Serviced at.
They maintain communications with you, they were quick to get our trailer back, and felt like the team of service is very knowledgeable in all of the different types of RVS.

Business Response on Google Mar 20th, 2024
Sir, In the hottest part of the year (late august 23') we went out of our way to help you and your wife with the broken air conditioner in the motorhome you are living in, including trying to complete an emergency repair on-site because you guys were parked in a permanent campground in 110 degree heat with the a/c not able to keep up with the heat. When we discovered that the parts needed for the ac were not readily available, we offered to try and "work around" the situation by providing an alternative manufacturers part to try and get you some cool air in your home... It was a risky attempt to try and help someone in a bad position, but as I am often reminded, no good deed goes unpunished. When the replacement part didn't work with your existing system, we did absolutely everything we could possibly do to try and make it work for you, including making 3 different visits out to you to call the manufacturer for potential options, and even offering a portable a/c for temporary use, all without charging you a single penny for this extra effort. We were really trying to help you out. When it became apparent that we needed to find and order the replacement for the original a/c and wait for it to arrive, you became frustrated and told us not to come back, which I obliged and apologized that we couldn't find a remedy. I also explained to your wife that regardless of the numerous hours we spent trying to find a resolution to your systems issue, I would only charge for the parts that were used, which are still in use in your motorhome today. But alas, you didn't pay your bill, cancelled the credit card deposit, even though the work had been performed. I chose to just "let it be" because I did feel bad that you two were an older couple living with no air conditioning, and it had been obvious that no matter what we did, you were never going to be satisfied, so I chocked it up to a loss and wrote the bad debt off, we were the only ones that got the shaft... The truth is that I have 100"s of great customers, including many of your neighbors that we have been able to help over the past 6 years and though we are not perfect all the time, we try to do the right thing 100% of the time in response to those mistakes. The same is true in this scenario, our repair may have not been 5 star, but our effort far exceeded 5 stars, and you know that is true. I will spare the public the details, but you really should be ashamed at how you behaved over the phone when you called to complain to our service department, cussing and yelling at someone that has nothing to do with fixing your a/c, all while we remained courteous and find a resolution... its just a shame that there is not a rating system for customers like you because I would return the favor and bad mouth you like you are trying to do my business. Your right it was a bad experience, for us...

image We visited Boulder City RV as the fridge in our traveltrailer was malfunctioning. Explaining the symptoms to their staff we suggested the propane burnerassemblymay be the problem. Although their service department was booked up they agreed to have a look at our fridge as we were on the road. We agreed to pay theirminimum one hour shop rate diagnostic fee ($159) and left the trailer. Upon our return their staff stated we required a new propane valveassembly as per their consultation with the fridge manufacturer; estimated cost $1100. During a discussion about their diagnosis we were unable to obtain a clear explanation as to why they eliminated the cause being the propane burner; did they clearly communicate the symptoms to the manufacturer? Although we disagreed with that diagnosis we paid their one hour fee, obtained our trailer and left.
After our visit to Boulder City RV we visited other RV serviceestablishments, obtained a newpropane burner (cost $210),installed it and now have a smooth functioning fridge.
To be noted; throughout our visit at Boulder City RV their staff were accommodating, friendly andprofessional. We also appreciated that they fit us into their tight schedule to look at our trailer fridge. However their diagnosis was incorrect. Even though we had explained the fridges malfunctioning symptoms repeatedly, the obviously malfunctioning burner was ignored and they stuck to their incorrect diagnosis.
Once we successfully repaired our fridge, we contacted Boulder City RV, detailing the situation with the understanding thatthough mistakes are made, it seems that our issue should havebeen easilyidentified. It is difficult justifying the incorrect diagnostic fee we incurred andkindly requested reimbursement. They replied stating that an hours work was done by them and refused reimbursement. It appears that weve paid for the training of their staff. If we would have agreed to their diagnosis we would have experienced unwarranted aggravation and expense without fixing the issue. Beware of incorrect diagnosis that doesnt match the symptoms.
