This urgent care is horrible. I know this is long- but unfortunately the entire experience was a train wreck. Please do not be fooled by their family and friends reviews on here like I was.
It started at the front desk with the incredibly rude receptionist they have working. You pay upfront, which wouldnt have been such a big deal, if I didnt want to leave halfway through waiting but felt stuck because I already paid.
Which brings me to my next point, we waited over 2 hours, with the heat set to 76 and many people around obviously sick, it is a perfect breeding ground for germs. I ended up with the Flu (totally different sickness than my daughter had) 7 months pregnant, after spending 2 hours here.
We spent a total of 15 minutes in the back, they gave my daughter a strep test, came in told us the results got our pharmacy and sent us on our way. So the fact that it took over two hours was to no excuse other than their poor organization skills.
Additionally, I get a call after completing the survey about my experience saying they would send it to their district office. I never heard another word other than an email 2 weeks later saying they would be charging my card on file $20 for patient responsibility after I had already paid at the original visit they stated my insurance would send me something about this but I never received anything. I have never had this problem with my Cigna or any other urgent care in this area. Not to mention, the ONLY care received was a strep test so Im unsure what else we could have owed for after leaving, just seems suspicious to happen after filing a complaint.
Anyways, if you made it this far into reading my frustration, I can say down the road on Viking Dr there is a phenomenal ACTUAL urgent care called First Care Bossier. They are much more reputable than this place.
And no, coastal I do not care to receive your generic automated response about how your sorry about my experience and so on. Just know that if my card gets charged again, I will be reporting it for fraud and getting a new card.
