My sister and I booked a room for one night for a local wedding. After walking in, We didn't stay. I wanted to like it because local is my jam, but it was filthy. There were leftover candy wrappers under the bed and I'm uncertain anything had been cleaned in quite some time...sheets appeared to be washed but the comforter was so filthy and stained it just needed to be thrown away. I didn't expect much for what B school lodging has to offer, but I can't even describe to you the smell. I was fearful for pests...And by no fault of the establishment probably, the extremely intoxicated fishermen sitting in the yard didn't help the atmosphere. There is no on-site management, you are just given a key code and with the upkeep of the rest of the facility I was not confident it was something that they would have cared enough to change. It was just an uncomfortable situation all the way around. Re-routed to Pickstown, was much better even though we had to drive much farther.
