We were staying for 2 nights. The room assigned to us was on the 1st floor. The moment we entered, I noticed the musty smell. We opened the patio door to air out. The rainy weather certainly did not help. We asked to move to a different room but they were sold out. The staff apologized and recommended to try again the next day. When we woke up the next morning, I noticed that that carpet was somewhat damp. I looked up the reviews and there was a similar one to our experience. The staff the following day help us get another room. The hallway on the 1st floor also smelled musty.
The only positive experience was the pool. Clean and warm. The location was also great.

Before I booked this room I requested for a late checkout and was informed I could just to let them know in the morning. I called the front desk attendant named and Heather answered when I told her about my late checkout she refused in letting me due so that because the manager told her it couldnt be done. Then when I asked to speak with the supervisor she refused. Told me the manager isnt available. So then I asked how did the manager tell you I cant check out and now not be available. I asked when would the manager/supervisor be in and she said till Monday. So no manager or supervisor till a whole week from now. Heather was rude and uncaring. We drove an extra hour and change to stay in this location just because of the extraordinary service we received at the holiday inn in Pembroke Pines. What a shame. Also the ac units leak of water, so my room carpet was soaked and the breakfast here is a joke compared to the other holiday inns weve stayed at. The pancake machine doesnt even work. So my son had to stick with yogurt and toast. Worst service!!!!
