My husband and I travel alot for work. Outback has always been our "go to" place because, usually, it is consistant with good food and service. This Outback on Lakeshore has to be one of the worst restaurants we have been to. The server, Tiffani, was very personable and helpful but the food was terrible. Everything was cold. And I don't mean cool, I mean out of the fridge cold !! We were a party of 5 and everyone had the same opinion. Several things were sent back only to have them come out the same way. Cold and not done properly. In the end, it turned into a JOKE !!! We will never visit this place again. We can spend our $100 somewhere else.

Took about 30 minutes to get my Steak and potatoe and they were cold, salad wss good, the tea was very good. Took about 35 minutes to get the bill.

Ordered a steak and salad. after 20 mins the steak comes out. (cooked wrong) I said normally a salad come out first, response was... oh well we must have forgot. Forgot? Two items ordered and you screw it up? Unreal. Never did get a salad at all. I wrote Outback Corporate to complain but after 3 weeks they must be too busy to even acknoledge a paying customer. Not a single word back from them. Stay away from this Outback. Heck, stay away from ALL Outbacks. Spend your money with a resturant that cares about customers.

We are moving to Birmingham due to job change. After a long day of looking for apartments, we decided to celebrate finding a good one before we crashed out at the Best Western nearby this Outback. Our silverware was filthy and we asked for replacement silverware. These, too, were filthy (grease smudges, caked, dried food, etc). We showed the waitress when she came out and her reply was "Do you want me to get you plastic silverware?" Come on. To eat steak with? My wife replied, "No, I would like silverware like this, only clean. If I wanted plastic silverware I would have eaten at Taco Bell." Then we examined the bread plates that were brought out. My wife's had dried food on it she flaked off with her finger nail and mine looked like it had a thumbprint of butter on it. At that time we both decided to leave and go somewhere else. We ended up eating across the road at Chili's, where we had a nice dinner, with good food and great service. One has to wonder if the plates and silverware are dirty, what does the kitchen look like?
