Went to my general practitioner for a sore throat in May. Received a $400 lab bill in November. See bill below in picture.
Ignore any invoices you receive from them. Per their sales rep-they do not have a collection agency and expect people to blindly pay these invoices. Again, throw these invoices away and do not take a one time courtesy cash payment. They will write off whatever your insurance did not pay.

I'm not sure about the lab itself, but their financial department is absolutely useless. I called to request a receipt for a bill I paid (did I mention I received the bill 1 year and 3 months later) so I could submit it to my insurance for reimbursement... they "don't do receipts." Seems suspicious to me. The woman was rude and less than helpful. Additionally, when I called the first time and paid the bill, they couldn't even tell me what is was for. Eventually I realized that it was for a COVID test that my provider waited over 6 days for the results of.

A very well run place and appointments on time. However the test was very evasive how they can expect a test like that on a swath of lidocaine that i never felt numb with is beyond me.

Id give zero stars if I could. My husband, child, and I were tested for COVID. Over a $1200 lab bill was submitted to our insurance provider FOR MY HUSBANDS TEST ALONE. His patient balance ended up being almost $600. Ins. was billed about $550 ea. for both my son and I. The balance for my child and I ended up being almost $250 ea. after insurance paid. So, our insurance was billed about $2300 for what was supposed to be 3 COVID tests. We are personally on the hook for about $1900. What is wrong with this picture??!! Our insurance covers COVID testing. So, something is amiss.
