The talented women that run the Organization are enlightened & in conversation delightful. I am so so glad that I got sent here from out of state! These stores should be in every single city with charitable Cause attached. A Birmingham MUST!

I went here with two of my friends. We were expecting more of a Goodwill vibe, but this place is really nice. I would describe it as a cross between a thrift store and a vintage store. The prices were expensive for a thrift store but great for vintage. They had some good art pieces which can be hard to find at the average thrift store, I got this nice Paul Cadmus print for about $30. I would go back here again if I was in the area. Wouldn't really recommend this place if you are looking for super cheap stuff, but it's a good deal on nicer quality items and offers a more curated thrifting experience.

You dont want to go here and find all the wonderful things. You dont want to go here and be amazed at the color of the day tags where you might get 50% off yellow and 75% off green that day. You dont want to find the most amazing dollhouse for $50 and wish you were a kid again to buy it. You dont want to find some boutique brand new clothes for actually great prices. You dont want to go here and find the most perfect dress that somehow fits like an absolute tailored glove. You dont want to explore the individual stalls around the outside of whole store, where individuals taste and collections range from cute and kitschy to antique and elegant. You dont want to find unscratched Ray bans for $20, you simply DO NOT WANT TO! Because this place is frigging awesome. Youre never going to want to leave. You do however want to donate all your wonderful things so I can luck out each time I go to Sozo.

One of the best thrift stores in town to stop by regularly. They maintain the orderliness extremely well and have good offerings at good values. Especially of note is that the business furthers an incredible cause - worth checking out their website. Located in extremely walkable Avondale surrounded by a ton of great restaurants and some other shops.
