Today I have had a great result with a very helpful lady named Sybil in the Probate Dept. We have been trying to get some legal work done for months. It took less than fifteen minutes for her to help us and for us to get it done. She is wonderful. I wish we had talked to her months ago. Thank you so much for your help and kindness.

I know no one ever has anything good to say about going to the courthouse, but I will.
I was at a loss on how to renew by State and Jeff Co business licenses, plus my business Personal Property Tax, so I called, and the lady I spoke to was the nicest and most helpful. She looked up my account, explain to me how I need to fill out the form and suggested for ease, just to come down there and they would handle everything. So I did, and they did.
From the minute I walked in the door, everyone was so helpful. The security guards zipped me right through and even voiced concern over the motorcycle that nearly ran me over crossing the street.
When I looked lost, another security guard asked me what I was looking for and directed me to the correct room.
The ladies in the business license area were friendly and efficient and then directed me to the next place I needed to be.
The employees in the Tax Accessors office were equally friendly and efficient. They told me which taxes had been paid, which were still outstanding, and when I told them I was going to pay the outstanding online, they reminded me to choose ECheck as the payment option since it would be FREE!
And to top it all off, because I was in and out in 30 minutes, my parking was FREE!

WOW !
I had a genuinely terrible experience with two staff members when calling the Jefferson County Redemption Department to pay my tax bill. Both young ladies I dealt with were awful communicators and acted as if speaking with me was a burden.
When I called and spoke with the first woman, seeking help to pay online, she was immediately rude and dismissive. She made no effort to actually assist me and seemed aggravated that she had to speak with me at all. Her unwillingness to provide any real guidance showed a blatant disregard for customer service.
Frustrated with her non-responsiveness, I asked to speak to a supervisor to voice my concerns. Shockingly, the woman hung up on me instead of transferring my call. I could not believe how utterly dismissive she was.
I called back again only to deal with a second woman who exhibited similarly poor communication abilities and attitude. She too acted inconvenienced and did not even attempt to resolve my questions about their clearly outdated systems in 2023.
Dealing with two unhelpful employees who were confrontational for no reason amounted to an exceptionally negative experience. It reflected quite poorly on the competency and professionalism within the Redemption Department overall. I sincerely hope they train their staff on basic customer service and upgrade technologically outdated systems. This was truly unacceptable.
I typically never write reviews but felt compelled to share my experience to prevent others from enduring such hostility when paying county taxes. The county administration needs to address these problems immediately.

The courthouse and optional vendetta and attacks by powerful individuals have consistently addressed me in disrespectful and incorrect manners. They have discredited me, overlooked and overran the important factors that hinder and manipulate me in ways unnatural to normal occurrences and use multiple outlets to phish and hold bound guilty verdicts that have a vast amount of evidences pointing exponentially to innocence. Bit they instead cast shadow and doubt with sideways motives by clearly enemies I didn't know were as existent. My family deemed sexual inappropriate when interacting both maternal and paternal sides. They have followed and even chased me around several states for decades increasingly more aggressive and punitive in punishments reducing my pay status and devotions all the while cuffing me to non standard, out of order procedure that forces stress and undue hardships on me and my mother. I think it was assumed we were not black and as a result changed rules after approvals in schools both Mexico and California when I was married by sone unknowns ill-informed of what was never hidden and decently lived in my life. I have Been canceled from human resources suddenly after family reunions cited as violations creating hearings in my career employer and educational institutions I believe stemming from personal vendetta and coverups that harmed me as well as many times vandalism. They forced mom to move and prevented me from parking plus the phone number 1077 is exact as usps not to mention hers as uab police department where we both have been employed as well as cold cases those persons obviously favored worked. The spotlight was dragged over my head as a weapon of destruction not some attention seeking device planned by myself. It is evident in my birth certificate number with the neighbor who declared and was believed I wasn't the victim but perpetrator definitely untrue and shown but thrown out like the city trash so much so the new garbage cans ate the same 96 as the date of most recent ticket sept 6 in one county and sent to another city then mailed from a third party state not Alabama or Georgia penalized but Florida.
They entail my mother and grandmother and her grandmother, my mother's siblings and my grandmother's siblings and my cousins on both sides of the birth and several spouses at family funeral. My mother at work
