A great nursery to get you fixed up with gardening needs as long as you visit during spring / early summer.  Many of these places are only open for a limited time.I like that they have signs, nicely marked signs, advising of the sun/shade/morning/afternoon light needed and how tall or wide you can expect the plant to grow.  That's helpful information when you have limited space for a garden.Right as you enter the first of multiple greenhouses that  make up Village Gardens are even more signs that tell how many hours of sun or shade are meant by "full sun" or "part shade" and, surprisingly that perennial  may not be accurate for the growing zone of Billings.  Mark that as a  "who'd have thought that?" thing.There was so much helpful information, and that was before I even started to walk around, I was feeling almost like a pro gardener.   All of that went out of my head once I started to pick up some plants, only to realize that if I kept everything, I'd need a garden the size of a small farm and more trees to provide shade to get me to the "part shade" advice.Informative employees, great selection, reasonable prices, healthy plants that last a long time,  Village Gardens, another local nursery, is just the place to visit when you want to have another option for garden plants and landscaping.

Village Gardens is the only place I will go for my spring plants and flowers. They are gorgeous and Make my yard beautiful! Rhonda works wonders with flowers and always very healthy. I have gone to them for years and the staff has changed many times but they are wonderful and pleasant always.
Thanks to all of you at the Village Gardens for making my life a bit easier and more pleasant! Oh and beautiful!!

Really beautiful flowers at reasonable prices. As a bonus, the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly!
