My soul magnifies the Lord,
And my spirit rejoiced in God to save me.
Because he looked upon the humility of his maidservant,
for behold, from this all generations will call me blessed.
Because he who is mighty has done great things for me
and his holy name
And his mercy is from generation to generation to those who fear him.
He made power in his arm
He scattered the pride of his heart.
He deposed the mighty from their seats,
and exalted the lowly.
He filled the hungry with good things
and the rich he sent away empty.
Israel received his children,
remembered his mercy
As he spoke to our fathers,
Abraham and his seed in the field.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
As it was in the beginning, and now, and always
and for ever and ever.
