I've had frozen pizzas better than the straw hat pizza, even Chuckie Cheese is better. Felt bad leaving 90% of pizza behind in a box but I didn't want it to stink up my car.

Pizza took long time to get to table. When it finally arrived the cheese was hardened like it had sat cooling for 20 minutes. Not hot, stretchy cheese but tepid, greasy cheese scab. It was also overcooked.

Salad bar was a typical pizza restaurant salad bar, but what made Straw House stand out from the rest was it's incredible effort at providing such utterly incompetent service. We ordered two sandwiches--SANDWICHES, nothing more, and were sent through the salad bar assembly line style. Twenty-five minutes after finishing our salads, the sandwiches were still not served, and so we decided to ask about them. We were told by two different waitresses that they would check on that.
Ten minutes later, one of them came back and told us that they had just started on the order. Mind you, this is 35 minutes into our dining experience. After ten minutes went by with no response, I got tired of waiting and went up to ask for our money back, to which they replied that they could only give us a gift certificate. Why in the world would I want a certificate to head back to the worst service I've ever had in Billings?
I now fully understand why they make you pay (WITH TIP!!!) before you actually get your food. I'm sure that any other method would have too many angry walkouts. I also understand why there is a different sports game playing at each table. It's because they expect you to watch the entire thing while waiting for their incompetent servers to wake up and realize that they are at work.
Looking for a great family pizza restaurant? Unless you have an entire afternoon to wait for food that you will likely never get, stay away from this one.

Pretty good pizza for the price. Tvs are at every table so you can be entertained. Service is also good, much better then pizza ranch.
