I went there some time ago on a rainy day and was rudely scolded by the owner to wipe my feet on the rug near the door, which I had done already. I told him in an annoyed tone of voice that I already had and did not need to be lectured to in a condescending tone, to which he got increasingly rude. When I told him that he had serious anger management problems he got hostile and then threatened to call the police if I didn't immediately leave, which I did.

Every time I stop in the shattuck market, I find exactly what Im looking for! The dates are always current yesterday the milk had a much better date than at the bigger stores! The veggies even look fresh yay!

Friendly owner and a great assortment of items for people in the area, with both national and local brands represented. Nice selection of coffees, soft drinks, and snacks (although I wish they had more sugar-free drinks in stock). A regular here!
