Bought the car from Law Auto Group on Sep 13th in Bensenville, Illinois.
Looking under the car, I noticed what looked like an oil leak/puddle. Asking the salesman about it, he said they had just performed an oil change and the filter was a little loose and let some oil leak, but they had since tightened it and the car ran flawlessly after a full inspection. The test drive didn’t reveal much, I wasn’t able to get it above 55mph on the residential roads of the “test drive route.”
So I bought the car and started the 1,100 mile drive home to Cleveland, Texas. After about 180 miles, I noticed the front right tire was bouncing during a right turn around 60mph. Called the dealership, they said they would talk to his tech and get it handled once I got home. Once I got home the next day (Sept 14th), I took it to a shop for an inspection. They found a leaking rear main seal, bad rear shock, four bad spark plugs, and two dead o2 sensors. They were unable to diagnose why the right front tire would “bounce” at 60 mph. They estimated $1,942.83 to replace the RMS & rear shock. I replaced the plugs and o2 sensors myself, which was $942.60. With tax, total for repairs so far is $3,047.21. On Friday, Oct 6th, they offered $240 to cover the repairs. I declined and said it would cost more than that, so the dealership advised me to call the warranty number (they cover 3 months/3k miles) and go through their process, promising they would take care of the total cost. Upon calling the warranty department, they said they would call the dealership and get it all taken care of Monday (Oct 9th). After a couple weeks of calling them and not getting anywhere, the warranty department finally got back to me (Oct 18th) advising me that nothing will be covered under the warranty.

I would highly suggest visiting Dimitrije at Law Auto Group. I’ve known him for some time and he was super helpful to me. He transferred a car from a sister dealer same day so I could see it, was not pushy, and moved the process along quickly and fluidly once my mind was made!

WARNING to all - This dealer has not transferred title after taking money for MI sales tax, tile and registration more than thirty days ago. Promises/excuses for multiple days, then phone is dead. I have filed complaint with Attorney General and State Police. Now I have the car but can't drive it or license it.

Adam was great to work with. All around great experience. Did everything over the phone and I picked up the Jeep the next day! Adam was very helpful throughout the process and in getting me exactly what I wanted!
