I was in Bend for a quick business trip and I really enjoyed my stay.
The service was excellent--attentive, helpful, and very friendly.
The location couldn't be better; you're within walking distance of lots of restaurants and the little downtown strip.
The hotel itself is extremely comfortable. There's a "pillow menu" but I found the ones in the room more than sufficient. You can also request a different hand soap if you want; it's local I believe.
Safety is not an issue: elevators require a room key and there's always one person in the lobby, usually two.
It's not an inexpensive hotel but it is special.
Don't forget to tip housecleaning: they work hard.

I traveled to Bend for the Winter Fest and my reservation at a neighboring hotel went sideways, so I ended up booking a new reservation at The Oxford. I was less than pleasant to anyone who spoke to me when I arrived at The Oxford, as I had traveled for 5 hours then sat in the lobby of the neighboring hotel for an hour while they tried to make things right. Long story short, I was greeted with open arms and while my reservation didn't show up on Oxford's end immediately (used 3rd party booking app), Devin Cuzzolina, the hotel manager made sure I was able to get into a room right away. In addition, they compensated my parking for the evening and gave me fresh cookies and bottled water before heading up to my room. The 7th floor is the place to stay if you want to take advantage of the dry sauna and hot tub amenities. The fitness center is quaint but has al the equipment you need to get your morning workout in. The staff is extremely friendly, patient, and professional. This is a hard quality to come by with larger chain hotels. This hotel is also smack dab in the middle of downtown so it's in close proximity to great food/nightlife options. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the folks that work there. Thanks for the memorable stay!

Such a beautiful and clean hotel! Staff are very nice, I stayed on the top floor and the floors were HEATED?!? I loved it! Big shoutout to Devin the GR. I really suggest this hotel to anyone who is traveling and needs a relaxing stay. The hot tub was very nice, I loved the sauna!
