These people are very disrespectful dont help you , loud as hell 24/7 everyday they dont do the required maintenance and this is the mold that doesnt get handled along with disgusting yellow water from faucets crazy people around all the time , at this point there should be a class action lawsuit and condemn the whole property

We stay here for almost 10 year with the only reason location-which accessible to anything in Bellevue. The community around is nice. However the only reason we will leave is annoying continuous unorganized permit entry for repatriation what we dont ask for. We have to wake up from noisy leaf blowing on early morning every week.

There are a lot of things to dislike about Sandpiper East, but there is also a lot of things that are great.
With rents being hiked up recently, this place will not be worth its issues.
The worst part is old buildings that have not been properly maintained. There is horrifying MOLD growth that cannot be stopped. Units smell bad due to this and it may activate allergies to make your home unlivable. Leaky roofs, rotting siding, and a seeping foundation will allow moisture in from all angles. The units have YELLOW TAP WATER that gave me a rash in the shower and tastes bad until you use a filter for both. There was issues with the electricity and so for 4+ months my building ran on a generator. The parking lot has frequent break-ins and cars have been stolen to never return.
On the other hand, this complex is set on gorgeous land with the large Kelsey Creek running right through. It's a great area with services and transportation aplenty. The units are fairly large and private. There's lots of parking available. Maintenance and office staff are very very friendly and will always try to help you the best they can.
It seems to me that Sandpiper East is being held back in some way. It is probably a funding issue from the horrible owners King County Housing Authority (don't be fooled by their "non-profit" label those people are very greedy) or maybe it is bureaucracy from City Of Bellevue. Either way there are many options nearby that will be much more comfortable, and now with the rent going up you can't even call Sandpiper East a good value.
