180$ for a 30 min checkout.Billed for gfi which was not even tripped.Just told me that transformer is not working - get it changed.nothing was repaired in this visitNot requesting for their service again. Total rip off

Over price; charged me $180 to replace two GFCI's; one of which we had done and he said was installed correctly. Horizon was able to come out quickly and he was very friendly but was way over priced for the 45 mins he spent.

Had an issue with my ceiling fan and Ron was able to diagnose and offer a reasonable remedy in quick order. Very professional and did the repair to my satisfaction. I would definitely call on him again!

Ron, the owner of Horizon Electric has 35 years experience and it shows.  We actually had another electric company scheduled to do what we needed but they never showed up and their customer service was non existent.  I called Horizon Electric immediately and he was able to help us out of the jam the other company left us in.  I called him 3 times in a row when I first reached out.  He was very patient and understanding with me.  I described our problem and he said he could be out the next day for a free estimate.  He arrived as promised, had an estimate emailed to me in 2 days and was able to complete the work with in a week.  He did the work himself with one other gentleman with him.  His price was reasonable and definitely was in the same ballpark of the first company.  He was pleasant, professional, and on time for both estimate and job.  He is one of the few I found who still give free estimates.  He also offers senior and military coupons on his website.  Unfortunately, I saw them when I first checked him out but forgot all about them when I scheduled the work, as we were in a jam.  No worries, we were ecstatic even with out the military discount.  Ron is now our go to electrician and the only one we would recommend.
