Been living here for a few months now and I have to say I love it here!! It may be a on the pricier side but it is so worth it compared to other places that want the same prices and are offering way less here in Newark. Everything was pretty much updated, no infestation problems, everything was working, landscape always nice, quiet family oriented community, feels very safe, loveeeee the 24/7 guard shack, and the amenities are literally just the cherry on top. I have a 2b/2bath and i plan on staying for a while at least until i move out of state again. Everyone minds their business here, the staff, and my neighbors were super nice and welcoming as well.

community was good, but they have charged 800 dollars for kitchen damage after 5 years of stying(don't even know what was the damage). lol.

Be careful if you are staying here! You might lose your money
I stayed there for 5+ years and had good experience till I informed them that I need to vacate the apartment since my assignment has been cut short and I have to move back to my home country.
1. They took a lease break fee even though me having to vacate the apartment was not per my choice at all.
2. They charged me a ridiculous charge against damaging the kitchen countertop saying that there was some hardened glue drops because of which they have to replace the entire countertop. I send them move-out video which showed there was no such damage. Also, asked them to provide pictures against their claim. They refuse to share pictures and are forfeiting my entire security deposit. How can a damage of hardened glue drops (not caused by me) cost $1200? Even if there are hardened glue drops, doesnt it cost some $10-$20 to get som chemicals from Home Depot to clean it?
Since they have the control over the security deposit, they are misusing it to forfeit the same showing ridiculous reasons!

I have been living here for 5 years, I am currently living here and wishing to find a place that turns out to be how this place was when I first rented here. The place is pretty, and that's about it! Whatever complaints you bring to the office, they will type it up and ensure they will have no fault at all. I had leaks from upstairs to my apartment, which they "fixed" and the patch work they did still doesn't match the color of my walls because, its still slowly leaking. However they said "That's not true and the wall is not wet." My guests say my carpet was wet whenever I had someone over and pictures to show the issue, they left a big circular air fain to blow it dry and left it in my home for about 2 weeks? I eventually, developed mold, both white and black mold in my home. I took pictures of it and showed it to them. They eventually said here's a dehumidifier if I don't like it call the manager, which I did. about 2 weeks later, and me fussing 3-4 times, they said they'll schedule a cleaning of the mold. They never acknowledged all of my things being thrown out because literally everything caught mold, even the kitchen cabinets. My child has been sick for 2 months, from October to December. I have taken her to the doctors to see if they can help get her better. Nonetheless, the cleaning finally came, they did a walk through, they told me/them if the carpet wasn't changed, they wouldn't clean because mold grew under the carpet which they pulled up from the same part in the closet that maintenance did, which they told me wasn't a problem and there was no mold, despite me showing them my things they chose not to make eye contact. The mold people rescheduled, and eventually it got cleaned. When I asked the next steps they said "basically nothing because the cleaning cost them some money" I said the mold cost me my home and my childs health. She then said well I could move out. I filed an insurance claim that my renters insurance told me she told them to deny. When confronted, she said "well its not Christiana Meadows fault. I know the buildings hold moisture and if your things are damaged file a claim." again the rebuttal of her telling them to deny it was the concern. Then I said well the claim is asking to tell them the source she said there isn't any, I asked about the leaks, she stated "I have no idea why all of your things caught mold, leave the closet door open, which I do because again I have a child and it opens inward so being open it isn't in the way. She said leave the closets open, run a dehumidifier, and leave a window open all year long or run the fan on the thermostat. The buildings hold moisture so if you shower or cook your bound to get mold. My mother questioned, did you let everyone here know that, those are things required to lower your chances for mold in this place due to how you built it? She said "no but ill add it. It'll be in the mold adendum for next year. But I cannot give you a break on rent but if you want to leave early, I guess you can do that".
Don't get sucked in by a pretty place, because that's what brought me here. Having nothing is whats allowing me to leave. Also she never mentioned my security deposit, who knows if i'll get that back. I live in 1002 and just know that if you pick this place and get that unit, you have tons of mold spores, both black and white and the closet is still leaking water from upstairs. Ive contacted a lawyer and he said we could move forward but I have to stay here in this unit to do so.
Also, my washer broke, smells like it's burning and black chunks sitting in the bottom and sounds terrible when running the cycle. Reported that to the main office, They still won't talk to me about fixing it. I NEVER write reviews, but I'm trying to warn people because no one else will.
