Really sad that when a person goes to get a job to help other people that DHS has their hands in it and will not allow an ex felon to work at that company even though the charge was over 20 to 30 years old. I could see if that person had a crime done within the last 7 years, but with somebody that has been out of trouble for 27 to 30 years, come on people that person done their time. Give them a break. Let them prove theirselves some more I guess. No wonder Bartlesville has such a high crime rate. Nobody will let their pass go. They've let it go but you won't

This is the most inefficient system I have ever dealt with. They want you to provide information or file a dispute within "30 days" of when they supposedly mail something to you, but I have NEVER received anything from them sooner than 15-20 days after the date on the letter. Then, when you try to call them, any phone number you use is routed to a severely understaffed call center in OKC. The wait time is ALWAYS at least 1-2 HOURS. There is not an option for them to call you back if you are calling about SNAP and I have been hung up on several times after spending an hour or more on hold.
Come on Oklahoma. Create more jobs to staff your call center, which might just lower the number of people on welfare. Then you actually have tax paying citizens instead of people struggling to make ends meet and feed their families.
