Me and my husband walked in asking for bloodworms, the wife took out a plastic bag and threw it on the counter rolling her eyes. I asked can we please see another bag because theyre kind of small, her and her husband looked annoyed and kept refusing. They eventually let us see another bag but told us we should go elsewhere. We were like you could be a little nicer to your customers. They said dont come back and we said we wont. They kept yelling at us. They said they dont let people look at them, either you buy it or you dont. Maybe they were rude because were not white, I dont know. Very bad experience, first and last time going to that store. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I would have given this 5 stars if Clay the owner(son of bob) was a bit easier on the edges. I am a novice fisherman and love hearing advice on how to fish certain species so sometimes i can tend to ask the guys at a fishing supply spot a few questions to feel more confident.
With Clay at Bobs bait bucket i felt like every question i asked was annoying to him. I almost felt like he didnt like having customers who were new and needed assistance.
Definitely a cool local spot but just not very welcoming staff.

I went in and asked for some blood worms and usually I get a small white round container with the words sure ketch blood worms, but today when I went it I asked for blood worms and the guy over the counter gave me a bag of worms in a ziploc bag and when he rung me up the total was 14.05 for a little bag of maybe 15 small blood worms. I asked him if he had the white containers that said bloodworms that usually cost 7 something and he said they dont make them and that those are lugworms. I told him that the lid says blood worms and he insisted that those are lugworms. Long story short he was trying to charge me double for a bag of bloodworms in a ziploc bag and tried to tell me there was no such thing as bloodworms in a sure ketch container. I told him it was too much and walked out, honestly I feel like every time I go in this bait shop the guy behind the counter is rude and not friendly because Im not white. If you want honest and good service just go to COPES, youll be better taken care of there.
