I ordered 4 pallets of Palisade Zoysia. About 30% dead blades. A decent amount of the squares were bone dry. Some of the squares are really rough and only a handful are perfect.
There is also some Bermuda mixed in I think. It also got delivered at 9pm the day before my scheduled date and I was told I can either accept it at 9pm or get the same pallets the day after (they would probably dry out). So I worked until midnight.
I think their google review rating is certainly overhyped but overall not bad.

We understand how frustrating this must be for you. It's surprising to us, as this is the first we've heard of any issues with your delivery and order. We ask our customers to promptly let us know if they have any concerns so we can resolve them and avoid frustration.Just to clarify, the grass you received was harvested the day before delivery, as we always do for all orders. The driver may not have explained this well, as you mentioned in your review. However, we inform our customers about this in our checkbox disclaimers on our website, which you must acknowledge before processing the online order. Rest assured, the grass was not 100% green because it is still coming out of dormancy, but 70% green is great for March. The rest will become green as it comes out of dormancy with warm weather if maintained well and according to the instructions. You can find more information about winter dormancy in the "Winter Harvest & Dormancy Information" email we sent you when you placed your order. I had an awesome experience with The Grass Outlet. Their website experience is pleasant and the gentleman delivered 2 pallets of Texas Native St. Augustine right in my driveway. Flawless experience and the grass is so beautiful that my neighbors have come to thank me for taking such good care of this yard since moving in.

Hello Donna!Please elaborate so we can better understand your experience. We harvest all orders at our farms on an order-by-order basis so our customers receive the freshest grass possible. We encourage ordering several days in advance—especially during our busier seasons, such as spring—to allow date selection. We keep a certain supply for purchasing grass by the piece & half-pallet at our two store locations on a first-come-first-serve basis, but we do not overstock this grass to ensure freshness for our customers. We run out early on busy days, but it is challenging to predict which days, as demand fluctuates often.
