I gotta say that I cannot recommend Mr. Cool HVAC enough. I used them for a full system replacement and they did a phenomenal job. Their pricing was competitive and the employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I had a couple special requests for my install and they were happy to work with me on it. I had used Mr Cool in the past for A/C service and repair so when it came time to replace the system I didn't hesitate to call Mr Cool. First problem they had was not having ductwork to complete the job all at one time. They replaced the furnace an A/C first and it was amazing how cold it got when system turned on. I had to cover my bare skin. After waiting a week my mother called and told them she was giving them 1 more week to get the ductwork supplies and get it done. The crew arrived on Saturday to complete the ductwork job. There was a crew of maybe 5-7 guys. Apparently they never tested air flow after the job was done. I guess I should have grabbed the lead guy and walked through the house and check every vent for flow. Master bedroom is so warm at night I have to use a giant floor fan to be able to sleep. I called Mr Cool Saturday after the crew left, but they were closed for the weekend. I left a message voicing my concerns and expected a return call on Monday. Nobody called or showed on Monday. Nobody called or showed up on Tuesday. I called back on Wednesday and went off on the woman who answered. I'm sorry it came to that but, first they offer no financing options so you have to come up with $15,000 cash in one payment. I had to finance through my mother's Edward Jones account. Second, they put a big hole in my garage ceiling and never repaired it. Third, they never checked air flow through the house. Lastly one of their trucks broke down and needed a jump. It was too far from the house to use my charger/starter pack so my roommate lent them his jumper cables. He went back outside a few minutes later and caught them throwing the cables in a neighbor's trash can. I don't know where they find the work crew, but it's clear they do no background checks on their workers. Unfortunately, after they make things right I will no longer use Mr Cool.

I've been using Mr. Cool for about five years now. Each time they came out they took the time to find the real problem and fix it right. Hernan always explains things to where I can clearly understand it and what he's going to do. They are on time and respectful of the people and house they are working in.

Please note that "Mr. Cool" will refuse future service at your home if he doesn't like the feedback that you provide to him.Not very cool, Brian, eh? But I give him two stars instead of one because he is courteous about his refusal to work with you anymore. Plus, he did refund the money I paid for him to send his Intern out to not repair my AC system properly. That was appreciated. Please ask if you are going to get a Varsity or JV Technician sent out to "fix" your AC System when you call. I didn't know I had to ask that up front.
