The service and selection is impeccable and it is a very clean store with everything you could desire. The issue is the pricing. I was able to have the exact kiln shipped to me on a truck from a ceramic store in South Carolina for FAR less than to have it delivered around the corner from Armadillo. Over $1000 less. Equally, I can purchase the same tools on Amazon (except the clay) and have shipping INCLUDED cheaper then to buy the tools at the store here with me picking them up and eliminating shipping.
You will save on the clay here while supporting local but there is a huge price to you for supporting local. So I tend to split up my purchases carefully and do my homework. That said, Armadillo is just around the corner from me so I often pay for convenience.
That said, it is always a fun day to come in and shop all the tools and supplies, even if to see them in person before you do your homework on pricing.
