It's the best decision I ever made. It's a tough first year but, once you enter the second year it get's fun. You learn so much. The union here is prety strong, fair and our loval 520 does stand by you. Ive seen people get fired but so far it looks like they were violating safety rules (your safety), others just couldnt get to work on time, a few I've seen over the years have been let go for doing crazy stuf like racing througg the parking entering or exiting the job site parking. I dtay honest to everyone, i do the work Im expected to do and I practice safety, show up on time evwry day. Try it.

Glorified open shop is a better descriptor that union. Homeless have better health benefits than IBEW 520 contractors offer. Rude, low class, unsafe, drunks and drug addicts work for ibew 520 and contractors.
