I dont usually write reviews but I think gratitude is definitely warranted as far as Dr. Racine is involved. I started working with Dr. Racine about 10years now with most of the work being in the first two years when my anxiety was at its highest point. We worked together through everything and there was never a time that I felt that I couldnt reach out and ask her for help. It became much easier to deal with my anxiety. After that we meet occasionally just to refresh thought processes we have worked on or a rough patch if I have one. It was such a game changer for me and has given me the freedom to live my best life. If you are looking for someone to help you out of the loop of worry and fear of day to day life I highly recommend reaching out and giving her a call.

Dr. Racine has helped me manage my OCD so that I can live free from excessive worry and rumination and enjoy a meaningful life. When I started working with her, worry and rumination were consuming my life, and by mentoring me with ERP and other tools, I gradually regained my footing to a healthy, happy and productive life where I could live in the present. Dr. Racine is kind, readily available, responsive and client centered, and is an expert in the OCD and anxiety field. I am very grateful to her for the care and guidance she has provided me and would highly recommend her.

I've been a patient of Dr. Racine's for over four years, and the therapeutic relationship we've built has made a tremendous difference in my life. She has many gifts, and I'm quite lucky to get to benefit from them! In terms of scheduling and communication, Dr. Racine has always been very responsive, flexible, dependable and punctual. During sessions, she allows space for me to lead the conversation if I have things to get off my chest, while still guiding me and keeping me solution-focused. Even when I go into an appointment feeling I have nothing to say, I always leave with the feeling that the session was greatly productive!
When I first started seeing Dr. Racine, she took the time to foster an environment of trust, support and compassion; free from harshness or judgment. Her ability to constantly maintain this environment, while still holding me accountable and encouraging my personal autonomy, is really special. When I talk, Dr. Racine LISTENS. I've had therapists in the past who did most of the talking, barely allowing me to finish a thought before jumping in with opinions, personal stories, and advice. Dr. Racine does not do this! She lets me speak as long as I need to and asks thoughtful follow-up questions; she wants to know more so that she can truly understand and help me. In fact, she does this so well that I often find the answers I need through my own responses to her questions.
Through my experience with Dr. Racine, I've learned a plethora of coping skills and strategies to improve my well-being. Application of these strategies is positively reinforced, and successes celebrated. I've gained more confidence in my abilities and more self-acceptance, as well as acceptance of others, because of the work Dr. Racine has done with me. I am forever grateful for the immense positive impact her care has had on my mental health.
