I was given a completely different haircut than I asked for. It's not a bad haircut, but I get the impression that they only do very basic, traditional mens haircuts here. I had longer hair and wanted something shorter but not "traditionally masculine" and I used those words specifically.
Well, I got a very typical mens cut! It is well done, and I'm going to make the best of it and it looks like it'll grow into the haircut I did want (with a little trimming from me as it grows out) but it is unfortunate that my stylist did not communicate that this is not something they do, and instead gave me a haircut i specifically did not ask for. If you have a basic men's cut, they'll do it well! But steer clear if you have longer hair and don't want a typical mens cut. I think it's partially on me, I don't go to barbershops typically because of that exact reason, but I was on a time crunch.
4/5 because it's not an objectively bad haircut but I wish the stylist had communicated with me more candidly. The staff was very pleasant and kind.
