Applewood gets points for having nice technicians and quick service. However, this comes at a very steep price. They dont charge by traditional time and material. Rather, they have a set price on their iPads which their technicians present to you irrespective how long long the project actually takes. Over $1000 to remove a toilet, connect a bidet to the toilet and reinstall (We had already removed the toilet tank and partially installed the bidet).
Then they wanted $1100 to put in an electric outlet so I could plug in the bidet. I said no thanks and got the same job done for $200.
There are plenty of excellent electricians and plumbers out there. I fell for this because I was under pressure to get the job done quickly.

I have been using Applewood Plumbing, Heating & Electric for more than 25 years and every single interaction with Applewood has been 5 stars. When I call, an actual person answers the phone, understands my needs, explains what solution Applewood offers and allows to me choose my path forward. When I choose my path, we schedule with a technician. I am expecting to hear "we will see you next week," and am consistently delighted when the answer is "we can have someone out today." The technician arrives and each is always highly skilled / certified, personable, patient and professional. At the end of the service call, I am happy, relieved and once again realize that without value, price is just a price.

Very professional and meticulous searching for the water leak. He found it underneath a cabinet in the basement kitchen. This is where the wood flooring was damaged. Now the process to repair. The concrete floor will have to be opened with a jackhammer to get to the problem.
The good news, he found the problem, the bad news is, theres a problem.
I recommend Applewood to everyone that wants a professional to do the job!!
