I have been taking lessons and dancing with Matthew Gann's group for the past 6 months and am loving it. My technique has improved immensely in a short time because he is a master of helping me understand proper movement patterns and form.
Matthew is dedicated to providing the highest quality experience to his students. He is sensitive to the needs of his students, regardless of their level of experience or innate talent, and finds the best way to encourage each of us to be better dancers. If the moves on Dancing with the Stars make your heart skip a beat, Matthew Gann is just the teacher to get you onto the ballroom dance floor. I’ve been taking ballroom dancing lessons with him for two years in Atlanta. He demonstrates the dances with precision and flair, and importantly, he clearly and patiently explains the steps, partnering skills, and style of each ballroom dance. He is enthusiastic about his students' improvement and takes pride in teaching. He offers gentle but clear correction to help you reach your goals and gears his feedback to the interests and level of experience of each student.

Matthew choreographed our wedding dance and our weekly class was my favorite part of the wedding planning process. Everyone LOVED the dance the day of and we loved class so much that we are still taking, over a year post-wedding AND pregnant! Matthew is a great instructor and so fun to hang out with - highly recommend!

I would like to start off by first saying that Jonathan Doone is the Mr. Miyagi of dance. Like the beloved karate master who trained the young Daniel-san, Jonathan also employs less-traditional training methods in order to help ensure the continual progress of one's own dance capabilities. Furthermore, his own abilities and dance prowess are apparent from the start, ensuring that quality teaching is being given from a reliable source. So just in case there is still confusion, I most certainly highly recommend Jonathan and Ballroom Unbound!

I have recently started my dance classes with Matthew and he is a very patient teacher. He works with your schedule needs too. I purchased 25 classes and cant wait to become a great dancer of the Tango.
