I probably should have submitted this review a while back, but am writing it now in the hopes of trying to help others who may be in a similar predicament.
My hot water heater sprung a leak in my finished basement, so I contacted Servepro as part of this process.
The gentlemen were quite responsive and seemed very professional. I left them to address the water damaged items, as I worked in the kitchen table on the first floor. During the process of addressing the affected areas, they had to remove the floor cabinets along with the sink/granite countertop.
When they were done, they neatly laid out the cabinet/countertop in an area in the basement not affected by the water damage, and let me know they were done. There was no indication that anything went wrong, and I signed off on their work.
Later, I noticed that they broke part of the granite countertop during removal. I contacted them (Megan) several times via phone and followed up with pictures in an email. My thinking at the time was that I would pay the invoice since work was performed and assuming they were professionals, we would figure out a remedy, however I have not heard back from them after repeatedly trying to contact them.
Please be careful when working with this outfit. Ask questions, and inspect everything before they leave, and lastly, get a remedy prior to paying them, or you will never hear back from them once they are paid! Service: Water damage cleanup
