As another previous client has stated, I also received a letter that Simmons and Klima were retiring. No help was given as to where to go or how to find another accountant, and received a rather curt reply to an email asking for help.  I was surprised by this treatment after using and trusting them for three decades.

After more than two decades of using this firm, they sent me a badly copied short letter saying the person who handled my taxes was retiring and that they would not be doing my taxes for the following year.  I emailed and asked for referrals and was initially told no.  After more than two decades, I must admit that I was shocked to be dropped as a client in this fashion.  They could have helped clients much more by adding staff to take over for the retiring person, or at least have a list of other firms for clients to review and decide for themselves.  Knowing this is how they acted/treated a long-standing client; I would not recommend them at all.

When I called on 6/28/19 @ 9am to inquire about services, the phone attendant immediately cut me off to ask asked if a current client referred me. When I said "no", he hung up the phone. Very professional......
