Absolutely worst customer service from Ahmad Quraishi and Nancy Hong. Rude , disrespectful and plainly ignorant . With this attitude this branch wont do well in this neighbourhood. In todays age with so many options we will make better choices where to take our money .

I absolutely love banking with Burke and Herbert Bank/Clarendon. I've been banking with Burke & Herbert for over 20 years. Every time I go into the Clarendon location Managers Nancy Hong and/or Ahmed Quraishi have checked on my banking needs. Typically bank managers hideout in their office pretending to be busy and you have to make an appointment just to say hello. Definitely not these two... they are there and ready to assist with information, perks and ideas of better banking.

The Clarendon staff are the the top customer service, I did my mortgage finance with them, they're always help us with our account, no minimum, no ATM fee. The whole team always greet us with their friendly smile. My whole family bank at the Clarendon branch.

I recently went to a Burke and Herbert branch to redeem two Certificates of Deposit (CDs). I was disappointed in my visit. Each CD was well over $100k, and I requested two separate checks, as I wanted to deposit each in separate checking accounts at other banks. The clerk said that the cashier checks were $10.00 each or $20 for both."WHAT?" I said in disbelief. "Are you telling me that after holding my funds for nearly a year and with paying a paltry interest rate, you are charging me $20.00 to redeem my money? How petty is that?" (I never before had any bank to do that).I asked to speak with the manager about the petty charge. After several minutes, the clerk (with no manager) returned to tell me that they would issue one check and waive the $10.00 fee.I said OK. And now I assume I am expected to be happy because they waived a petty charge that should not have been issued. So, then I ask the clerk who is to process my check to tell me what my interest dollar amount is to ensure that the correct amount is calculated before the check is to be written. The clerk calculates each CD's interest dollar amount. The calculated interest amount for each CD is five cents less than what the full matured amount should be; this makes no sense, particularly since I am 3 days beyond the maturity date. I am perplexed but for two nickels and my parking meter nearing empty, I am ready to leave this bank. I get my check and leave, and certainly plan NOT to return.
