Postponed 4 times. I drew them a map of where not to dig and they cut my French drain in half anyway. Never were on time. And I'm pretty sure they scratched my car. But I have sprinklers now so I guess they did their job?????

Kevin and a helper came out to see if they could locate a break in my electrical line to station 2. The diagnosed, located, dug, repaired the break and filled the hole back in. All of this in about 15-20 minutes. Showed up when they said they would and got us fixed quick! Will use them again when needed

Hey Google (and anyone else reading these reviews on Double Eagle Sprinkler Corp) thought you might like to be informed that the review by Chas Coleman below should be considered invalid since he is an employee of that company and the brother of the owner, Robert Coleman.
Now for my review...
I filed this formal complaint with the BBB against Robert Coleman and his company, Double Eagle Sprinkler Corp. for failure to complete the sod replacement project that I contracted them to do. In addition, I would like to make the public aware of their unethical business practices of trying to charge me extra money for work they did without providing any notification that there would be an additional charge for that work. On top of that, I experienced the absolute worst customer service I can ever remember from the owner of this company, Robert Coleman. The owner! During this ordeal, he instructed me to purchase two separate herbicides to apply to my lawn in an attempt to save it from being overrun with weeds and my old lawn coming up through the sod. He told me that he would reimburse me for that purchase which ended up being $44.32. Not only have I not received this reimbursement, he wrote in an email that he refuses to reimburse me unless I pay him the extra money I referenced above AND an additional $300 for warranty work. To top that off, he blamed the poor sod installation on bad sod from the sod company and got them to send him new sod. Robert's guys came and tore out the old sod, and put in the new sod but came up about 20 yards short. Now I have a bare area in my yard with no grass and he wants me to pay him extra to complete the warranty work to replace the grass he originally installed! I have no complaints on the sprinkler installation, but I would still proceed with extreme caution if you plan to do business with this company. And if you want new sod, go with a company where it's their primary business, not something they do on the side like this one.

I want to give everyone here a fair and honest review with the good and the bad. We got our sprinkler system installed August of 2015. During that time Texas had lots of rain and we were not able to have the system installed till a few months later. Not the fault of the company.
After the rain cleared up we were finally able to have the system installed. I wan to say the crew that came out and installed the system did a top notch job they were quick and did a fantastic job of cleaning up after the work was completed.
Now for the issues. I live in Plano which requires a permit for the installation of Sprinkler Systems. In the contract it states that Double Eagle will attain the permits and insure that work is completed to code. However, this was not done. When I asked the installers about the permit they stated that it was in the office with Mr. Coleman.
Being a first time homeowner I trusted that the proper permits were pulled according to the contract. However, after the work was completed and I called the office I was informed that the permits had not been pulled. Now in 2016 and after multiple attempts to request a permit to be pulled has not happened.
All I want is for the permit to be properly executed for the installation. Let this serve as a warning that not only for this company but anyone you hire to do work on your house that requires permits is to make sure you actually see the permit before work begins. This is the mistake we made and will never make again.
We have given Mr. Colman months to accomplish pulling of the permit but it has not been done. Once this issue is resolved I will gladly update this review with the results.
