Hi Christina, I'm sorry to hear you had a poor experience with us. After looking into your complaints from a phone call you had made earlier, it seems you were not happy with our service possibly due to not being able to have the issue fixed the same day as your appointment. Your vehicle was originally brought in regarding an intermittent stalling concern as well as the vehicle dying when it get's hot/possible over heat as the temp gauge was also not functioning properly. We scheduled you for 2 hours in order to address the concerns you had, and perform diagnostics. We were able to perform a cooling system diagnostic and found your thermostat to be opening too early. We called you with an estimate for this and were able to get this replaced same day, which was an additional 1.5 hours. We also diagnosed the intermittent stalling issue that seemed to be occurring due to a code P0322 relating to the crank shaft position sensor. Codes are meant to give us a general idea of which system to diagnose but don't tell you exactly what needs to be replaced. Our mechanic was able find a wire break in the harness of the crank shaft position circuit and quoted you for a new crank shaft position sensor. He was able to physically wiggle the wire to make the vehicle stall, which would explain the intermittent issue you were having. While I was not privy to the conversation you two had, it's my understanding that by the time we finished diagnosing your two issues, as well as installing the thermostat, we were already far past the amount of time we had allotted you for on the schedule. We absolutely do our best to repair everyone's issues same day, however, sometimes it's just not possible, especially when we don't know what needs to be replaced and therefore can't look up the labor time. We were still willing to try since the crank shaft sensor only calls for .9 hours of labor time however, there was also the possibility that since the call about the crank shaft sensor was made later in the day, we couldn't guarantee having the vehicle back to you before the end of the day since we had to wait for the part to be delivered as well addressing other appointments on our schedule. You told our mechanic that you wanted to reschedule for the repair for a later date for your own personal reasons, and we were able to make that appointment for you when you came in to pick up the vehicle. At this time we were unaware of any complaints with our service. As a family owned business we do our best to provide honest service to everyone in a timely fashion, but sadly we cannot please everyone, so I apologize if we dropped the ball in some way.
