What a refreshing medical practice that truly puts the patient first.
From the moment you walk in the door, your eyes are met with a large, comfortable waiting room, with ample seating and plenty of natural light streaming in the beautiful picture windows. A self serve beverage area is on offer along one wall.
Within moments of entering the office, the staff is so welcoming, exuding positive energy, greeting each patient by name. (Funny how such a small "long lost" gesture makes such a strong impact!) The personable nursing staff are also wonderful. Very thorough, informative and easy going. Always making the pre-appointment testing and stat checking a breeze. Not the dreaded vital taking of yesteryear! Oh, and not to be missed, is also the office manager, who routinely goes above and beyond to personally assist in any way possible - absolutely top notch.
And then there is Dr. Julie. One word to describe her: Amazing!
Her caring, refreshing, down to earth personality and approach to her Practice speak volumes. The Patient/Doctor team she develops immediately, with the tools she offers as guidance, coupled with her positive encouragement are amazing in themselves. Add to that, her continuing medical knowledge, and willingness to keep abreast of research, while allowing her own medical opinions to grow and evolve is quite admirable and refreshing. All this, make for a highly successful recipe for patient health!
Dr. Julie has become my biggest cheerleader. I finally feel like I am no longer alone in my journey of diabetes management. Excitedly, my once long-time insulin dependent disease, has been reduced to a minimal dose of Metformin since I have joined her Practice. And as of my most recent A1C check - I have, for the first time since "owning" this disease for the past quarter-century, registered at a 5.9!!! Yay Team!!!

Dr. McCormick is professional, knowledgeable, energetic, attentive to any medical issue, responsive to calls, supportive, great with medication management, personable.......I could go on! She is a terrific doctor that I have great confidence in.
