Took in a pair of hockey shells to have a spandex panel added into the legs, and upon picking them up, she charged me $80!!! I almost just left them there. I even supplied the spandex material! Never again! Horrible! All she said was, "It was a lot of work". I could have bought 2 new pair online...live and learn...spread the word...ripoff!!! Service: Alterations

went to PTL to have a choir dress hemmed. i had been told the family who runs it was very nice and it was inexpensive. upon meeting the owner who did my hem job, she was very sweet and told us it would only be $15. my mother and i clarified we heard her right, and happily went on our way. a week later when we went to pick up said dress, she told us it was now $95. she refused to give the dress back and yelled at us when we got confused. had to wait 2 weeks to pick the dress up. when checking the hem job up close, it was inconsistent and sloppy. paid almost $100 to be blue balled and have a beautiful, expensive dress badly hemmed. never going there again
