Carpet World of Amarillo was established thirty-five years ago and has been under the leadership of Jason Goodgion since 2016. Jason was born and raised here in Amarillo, started his career in the flooring industry in 2000, then joined the Carpet World team in 2008. After proving himself an excellent salesman. With Jason at the reins, Carpet World had a record-breaking year in 2017, and 2018 is looking even better. We could not be happier or more grateful for the beautiful flooring yall installed in our rent property! Everyone is so kind and professional! We wont use anyone else for our flooring needs!

I bought carpet 7 weeks ago after being told I would have it in 2 weeks. They never called me, I had to call them. They gave me another date, which there is no delivery. So I called again today and the manager was going to check AGAIN, but still didn't call me back. I am in the 8th week now. I will be going to the store tomorrow and say some choice words.

Absolutely terrible!! from scheduling on the 3rd to no show, no calls and terrible workmanship. A 2 day job took until the 11th.

Correction 2/9/24 Tony and his crew came out and corrected/repaired everything the previous installer put in and now our carpet/ home looks great. Thank you for making this right and helping to make the experience to horrible. He was very knowledgeable and understanding of our concerns.
Original post: Took some time to get the carpet which I understand is standard however our carpet was given to someone else in another state and then once found was delayed in NC for weather for over a week. Install was rescheduled multiple times 1 of which was same day originally scheduled and we werent informed until the hour it was scheduled after we had moved all furniture out of the house. Then after install the man that installed didnt clean up after himself and made us do yourselves. We found a seam showing in the hall which was promptly scheduled to correct but when he came back he said it was normal and just vacuum the carpet a different direction and it would go away after 3-4 weeks.

The absolute worst experience you will ever have with flooring. We paid them $7800, they have had to redo the floor three times and it is still coming apart in multiple places. Jason is now refusing to come and make it right. He says Ive already replaced it. Yes sir you have and it is worse than it was the first time. He has been claiming for months he is waiting on the insurance, but we received documentation from State Farm that he did not have proper coverage and they would not cover the claim. At that point it goes back to the owner of the company to make things right and he refuses to do so. And when you go in to talk to him about it, he tells you to leave his store.they also ruined the trim in the rooms they were working I, but refuse to admit that either.
