Moving out though this is the cleanest and a
very safe storage facility but went to far, raising prices two and a half times original amount during tough times ... otherwise a nice place to store your things.
Update....rates more than double with a two week notice...way to take advantage of the times. The manager feels terrible, corporate decision I am sure but will move as soon as able.
Wonderfully nice Manager who made the process easy, quick and very clear. Would rent here again in a minute. Hopefully rent won't increase to soon. Very, very clean property all around.

Just be careful with renting from Extra Space Storage. They lure you in with a low 4 month-pre-paid "web" rate. The contract states that the rental is "month to month" and that the company has the right to adjust your rental rate after 4 months to "current market rates". For example, my rate for a 10x10 inside unit was $63/month. After 4 months, they doubled it to $126/mo. Ironically the current "web" rate is $96/month. So, it's just a sham. They are predators on people who need temp storage and I only assume that most people will not deal with the hassle of leaving once they move all their belongings in. Just be careful if you rent from them. I'm going to go find a 12-month storage facility now that I know their game.

By the way, I asked the online rep if they ever "reduce" the market rates when vacancy levels were high....and of course he assured me the rate never decreases. So "market rate" simply means they will arbitrarily increase their rates at any point they feel they can get away with it, but your rates will NEVER come down based on the same logic.

The onboarding experience is great. Hence why you probably see a lot of positive reviews. But either these people don't rent beyond 4 months, or they are unaware that their rental rate has likely gone up significantly.

This storage facility was excellent in every way from beginning to end. Tasha, the manager, was so friendly, knowledgeable and kind upon meeting me.
She went above and beyond to make sure everything was clean and in good order. She is a total professional at making sure all of her customer's needs are met.
I give Tasha and Extra Space Storage nithing but the highest marks in the way they handle business and customer care.
