ADT is great! My pup did the 2 week Board and Train program with Jorge, and she is doing absolutely amazing! I feel like I learned a lot about dog training as well. Would highly recommend bringing your dog here!

We brought our 1 year old male golden retriever (Hendrix) to Atlanta Dog Trainer in Fall 2023 to help him with his fear and confidence. He was scared of new objects, people, and definitely other dogs. Although he had never been aggressive, we were concerned his fear would get worse if not addressed, and we wanted him to be able to interact comfortably in public places with new situations and people. We have a lot of experience with dogs, but Hendrix was the first we've had that exhibited these problems.
We contacted ADT and booked a session with Susie. She quickly assessed his behavior issues and began working with him along with her dog training academy students. I was very impressed by her knowledge, ability to communicate with our boy, and the tasks she created to build his confidence and increase his comfort level. Hendrix made big strides in that one session alone, so much so that we continued working with Susie for 6 or 7 more sessions. Each time, Hendrix progressed, and we reinforced that progress by doing the "homework" Susie assigned between sessions.
By the end of our time working with Susie, Hendrix could go on walks, visit dog-friendly stores, and manage his emotions in busy environments. We've continued to work with Hendrix on our own using the skills we learned from Susie, and he is still growing and improving.
I am very pleased with our experience at ADT, and I would recommend them to anyone. The best part is that the training helped us build a truly special connection with Hendrix.
If your pup is having any issues like Hendrix did, don't hesitate to contact ADT. You and your dog can have a better life.

We couldnt recommend more the trainer Jorge! Our Mambo is learning a lot in the private lessons and after two session we can see a lot of improvement! Jorge has been very kind and he really understand ours and Mambos needs! Also Im giving this facility 5 stars because I really appreciate they have Jorge who speaks Spanish! As English is not our first language, Jorge has been really helpful by giving us our sessions in Spanish

We can't say enough great things about Atlanta Dog Trainer! All of the staff members we have interacted with have been so friendly and great to work with every time we bring our dog there for boarding or daycare. We especially love Rachel who taught us some invaluable skills during our girl Hazel's board and train! Hazel loves to go to Atlanta Dog Trainer and we highly recommend them to all of our friends!

I previously utilized Atlanta Dog Trainer for boarding services for our dog who passed away earlier this year and he absolutely loved going there. I always knew he would be treated exceptionally well and he became part of the ADT family. After he passed away, we got a new puppy who is very high energy. We enrolled him in the three week Board & Train program with Jorge and just got him back home today. To say that he is a different dog is the understatement of the century. Jorge is a miracle worker and was so responsive and thorough in keeping us updated on the training progress and techniques all throughout the process. He compassionately taught us in the "go home" training how to understand the psychology of the way dogs think and are wired and how to maintain all of the exceptional work that was done in easy to follow steps. As a single mom who works full-time, navigating life with a puppy felt incredibly daunting. Now I feel like we are equipped with the tools necessary to have a well-behaved dog that we will love for years to come. Thank you, Jorge, and Susie for creating such an incredible home away from home for our dogs!
