Sunrise at Mount Vernon did an outstanding job caring for my mother during her final year of life. She lived there from December 21, 2022 through January 10, 2024. The staff was very responsive to my mother's needs, and the quality and variety of activities available to Sunrise residents is top notch. All the staff were professional, competent, service oriented, friendly, and a pleasure to interact with. After my mother died Sunrise staff were extremely supportive and helpful to me with taking care of all necessary business. I hope all the staff of Sunrise at Mount Vernon have the opportunity to read this review and receive my personal Thank You! for your wonderful, caring attention afforded to my mom, Margaret "Peggy" Chaison. Your care team is top notch and second to none.

My Mom and I recently toured the Sunrise at Mount Vernon, which is a lovely serene and well maintained property tucked away in a quiet community.
Thank you so much, Sadia Ali for your warm welcome and wonderfully informative tour! We loved touring the resident apartments, and exploring the variety of warm and inviting common areas; as well as meeting the friendly staff and residents! it was also a special treat to meet your talented Chef and to be invited to enjoy the delicious lunch he prepared!
I would love to see my Mom in warm and caring community like Sunrise at Mount Vernon.

My internship experience at Sunrise Senior Living was incredibly enriching. The staff and residents were not only welcoming but also created a friendly atmosphere that made me feel at home. Witnessing the genuine connections between residents and staff emphasized the community's caring nature. The individualized approach they took to ensure the well-being of each resident highlighted their strong commitment to delivering outstanding care. I'm grateful for this opportunity and highly recommend Sunrise Senior Living. I have worked for Sunrise for 17 years and it is an GREAT place to work. They provide excellent care and services to their residents and that one of the reasons I remain with the company. Another reason I stay is due to the caring dedicated leadership team that put the residents and staff first. I would recommend sunrise to any family looking for a special place with dedicated well trained team to care for their loved ones.
