I have had the pleasure of working with Michele for several years. She is an amazing therapist and mentor. Her practice, Moving Forward, was well run, and every individual who received services was pleased. She is very knowledgable in the field and is always willing to learn new things that can benefit the individuals she serve.

I have had the joy to work with Michele Cole of Moving Forward for a little more than three years now. She is so thoughtful and responsive in her communication with me that it shines through in everything she does. Her experience ranges from working with children to families, couples, and adults. And no matter what she does, I’ve never been less than impressed with her work, such as her podcast features. I can highly recommend Michele and her team to anyone looking for a therapist.

My daughter was struggling with school and anxiety. Michele helped her become high functioning and confident again. She helped us diagnose ADHD, assisted in communications with pediatrician and school counselors to give my daughter the support needed for success. I have referred many happy clients to her and her team at Moving Forward, PLC.

Was seeing Michelle Cole for over 6 months for marriage counseling. She was continually taking sides and not focusing on the issues. I felt more anxiety and experienced high blood pressure during and after every session. Michelle and Moving Forward is very expensive and didn’t except my insurance. Had to pay out of pocket for every visit and get reimbursed by insurance later. Which was such a hassle to fill out all the paperwork.
I highly do not recommend Michelle Cole or Moving Forward PLC. There are plenty of amazing therapists in the Alexandria area that except Blue Cross Blue Shield.
