I have been enrolled with Principal through my employer since August 1 and I still haven't received proof of dental insurance. It is now August 17.
I had a dentist appointment on August 12 and had to pay out of pocket as Principal will not give me proof of insurance or even answer my emails. They take the money but don't provide a service.
I am having a very poor customer experience with Principal and would not recommend them to others. In fact, I have never experienced this level of apathy and poor customer service and communication skills at any other insurance company.
