After being assigned to a new account manager, she was difficult to get a hold of, and mistakenly informed me that I had not uploaded documents which I actually had. 6 months later I was informed that REDW was abandoning me, and this employee told me that they would forward my records to my new firm. However, when I found a new firm and requested the records be transferred, she informed me that they couldn't do that without a form, and only could send me a copy of my last return to forward to my new CPA. Since they are abandoning clients of many years standing without even trying to make the transition smooth, I would not recommend anyone try to use them.

They were a very disappointing experience, with poor communication skills, no serious tax planning advice and with no notice, abandoning client in midst of tax dispute with tax authorities, which is extremely unprofessional. The firm seems disorganized and unresponsive, more like bookkeepers at high prices, with shallow expertise and overworked people. There are more professional, responsive and expert firms available, particularly if you want continuity of service when you need it.
