I have been at the depot for 6 months so I feel like I have gained enough knowledge to give a true opinion.
Pros: Pet Friendly
-Nice maintenance men will usually come out same day
-Nice study rooms and has printer 10 free pages a month
-Gym is really nice has a lot of new machines never really crowded.
-Good security system, if you don't have a key tab you cant get in period.
-Vending machines and Common Areas with Games and entertainment
-My room( A) very nice. The room was not trashed when I moved in but of course I still did a move in deep clean. The common area was a little trashy so I did clean that.
Cons:
-Pool fights leaving glass making it unsafe
-The washer machine and dryer provided SUCKS will break down every time you use it. You LITERALLY can only wash one sock and a pair of pants at a time or you risk breaking the washer. (however it is free so I mean you cant be too mad)
- Elevator doesn't work in the Parking garage which sucks when you park on the fourth floor and have to walk up 8 flights of stairs in snowy 18 degree weather.
- DONT BELIEVE THE ROOMATE CARD THEY GIVE! They do not follow that. You will mark that you are a clean freak and want to live with someone that is also clean but instead they put you with the dirties person you've ever encountered. If you are not coming in with set roommate(s) and you know you are a clean person and like to live in a clean environment don't move here you'll end up stressed out about to break your lease for $500+. I wish they followed that system truly.
- If you live anywhere under the third and fourth floor Good luck Charlie... people stump and fight on top of you all day long.
-If you live on floor two by the common area with the vending machines good luck too you too because people throw random 3 am parties outside your room and then you will have drunk college people fighting and banging into your door and wall.
I can say that I personally have not experienced any rodents in my apartment during my time here. But it all depends on personal cleanliness.
Would I recommend this apartment? Yes ONLY if you are bringing your own roommates who fit your living style or you are getting a one bedroom. ( trust me you don't want to end up with just anyone, everyone is not clean)
Rate: 7 ( lost points for lying about the roommate cards)
I do not think I will be renewing unless I am guaranteed a 1 bedroom apartment. Sorry not sorry.

If you move in and have a room that faces the railroad tracks a train will come by almost every hour, EVERYDAY, and its very loud. On the website it says they have a heated pool, NO they have a freezing pool. This was one amenity I was excited for, but the water was too cold to swim in, and it was summer! Other places give you a questionnaire to try and match you with a compatible roommate (if they did this they most likely wouldnt have as many complaints about roommates as they do) or which room you would prefer. Both assignments will be random unless you come with your own roommates. My friend and I went 4mths without a roommate, but we were excited when we finally did get one.and its been a less than pleasant experience. Be mindful, management does not get in the middle of roommate disputes.so what do you do when the roommate is not willing to talk with you about problems they continue to perpetuate? PAY $500 to move or as the office says its something that youll have to handle yourself. If you get room A/D I wish you well. The rooms are awkwardly shaped and feel cramped. BE SURE YOU LIKE YOUR ROOM BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY $500 JUST TO SWITCH ROOMS WITHIN THE SAME UNIT. Beware of the option to move in early because the office might not have any parking passes for the parking deck; theyll say they are all full. Which is confusing, because if you have rooms available, how do you not have parking available?????? No temporary passes are available, and you can only park on the street after 5pm and before 8am. I received three parking tickets parking on the street because I worked nights and was home during the day, until I got my pass. So having guests over will be a challenge during the day. Just be prepared to go half on their parking tickets. I previously stayed at the Edge and thought the Depot would be a come up, especially with the pool and seeing a cheaper price, I wish I had stayed where I was.
