I was sent here recently for inpatient physical therapy after having hip replacement surgery. Since they apparently didn't have a room available in the rehab section, they chose to put me in a room in the nursing home section. From the minute I arrived, I was astonished and horrified at this facility....peeling paint, mildewed ceiling tiles, horrific odors, etc. The staff were absolutely unskilled and unprofessional to the point where I became worried about my safety. I experienced things far beyond the typical old building/short staffing issues that are a part of this type of facility. I question the legality of some of the things I saw and experienced here. arrived at 5pm on a Wednesday, and paid a private ambulance service to pick me up on Thursday morning after spending 17 of the most horrific hours of my life here. I have since filed a case with DHEC outlining all of the issues and abnormalities I experienced. Thank God I am alert and had the means and ability to leave this place on my own free will. I seriously fear for the health and safety of the residents here.

I HAD TO GIVE A STAR in order to even post a review, BUT THIS PLACE DOESN'T DESERVE ONE AT ALL! The level of care my mother received was absolutely HORRIBLE! We had to call the ambulance 2 times because she was so out of it and developed 2 UTI's and ambulance had to be called twice for her to be transported to the hospital on 2 different occasions from not being changed when needed. She was left in the SAME clothes for days and not changed from them. We were told by an actual "nurse that there was NO diabetic menu offered while my mothers sugar stayed in the high 400's and her co2 level being over a hundred and we were told by staff and on call "doctors' this was her norm and we could call the ambulance if we wanted too. My mother told the "nurse" that is hurt when she urinated and the "nurse" was like ok. DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. Bringing someone you love here for help is like sending them to the funeral home. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE!
